Hughes Kaiser HK-1 Hercules "spruce Goose"

i've been plugging away at these when I'm bored. thought id see if anyone had a cleaner set or all the station diagram pages or the loft stacks. My goal for years was to take a nice clean set to evergreen museum which is about 70 miles from me.

Combination of Inkscape, ms paint and Sketchup. Most common tool is the target on my desk, for banging my head against 😝👍

That's funny. I have so much work to do here. A couple years ago I finally got ahold of an old friends Magazine collection> We were Members of the Battle Creek Balsa Bees Club. He gave the Mags to another member that just could not do anything with them. He was sickly and it took me two years to get them from him. Now I have been sickly. I received over 1 ton of weight. It was 2200 lbs. It blew out one of the tires on my trailer just as I was pulling and it caught on fire and burned off the rim. I had to stop at a tire shop and have new hubs, wheels, and tires for the 35-mile trip home. I made it then I weighed each box on a digital scale. then I added about another 150 lbs of my mags. I have started sorting but I have a long way to go to get the scanning done. And to add to that the AMA HQ at first refused the mags because they had no storage room and no staff to work with them. About 3 weeks ago I got an Email from the AMA Director and cc his Education Director that they did want the mags. I had to tell them I have a problem as after the Museum refused me I am going to send them out to Fred and Hslat. So now I can not destroy the mags to scan them but after I am done I have to send them to the AMA HQ. I decided rather then Scan each page, I have the photographic equipment to take 12 meg pix pictures of them and convert them to PDFs. Talk about hitting your head, oh yeah I did that too!!

I have to make a trip to the AMA HQ in Muncie, Indiana. It is just across the River from Dayton, Ohio and Wright Patterson AFB. That is where the main Air Force Aircraft Museum is. I will stop there and get some TO IPB's on the C-141's and take my camera. If anyone wants anything specific please let me know.
